HOLA @ 35!

Latinos In Entertainment is proud to partner with the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors as it celebrates 35 years of representing the talent and excellence of Latino actors.  We urge fans of Latino acting to contribute to the organization's current pledge drive which, as of this writing, is at 52% of its goal of raising $10,000.

Details on the drive can be found here on the organization's donation page: http://www.nycharities.org/donate/c_donate.asp?CharityCode=2256.

In addition to direct donations, three benefit performances are also being offered that will help HOLA reach its fundraising goal!  These performances include R.Evolución Latina's "Ser o no Cer... vantes" which explores the possibility that Shakespeare and Cervantes were the same person. This benefit performance will be presented in Spanish and will take place at the Baruch Performing Arts Center (East 25th Street between Third and Lexington Avenues in Manhattan, NYC) on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2pm (matinee) and 8pm (evening).

To order your tickets online enter the code "HOLA@35" and HOLA will receive a portion of the proceeds.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here:  http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/105491.

The second of these performances is "La vida en los Esclavos Unidos" with famed Colombian humorist Saulo García.  This benefit performance, to be presented in Spanish, will take place at the Spanish Repertory Theater (138 East 27th Street, just off Lexington Avenue in Manhattan, NYC) on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 7pm.

Tickets are $35 and a portion of the proceeds go to the HOLA@35 fund. To purchase tickets, please call the HOLA office at (212) 253-1015.

Please help this leading arts organization continue its worthy endeavors of promoting and furthering the work of Latino actors.
